We’re not crazy…well not much anyway

Despite what the debunkers (to coin a modern phrase) and industry pundits suggest, the tin foil hat brigade are far from crazed, demented eccentrics and we have no screws loose either.

In fact, there are now estimated to be millions of people suffering from one degree or another from electro hypersensitivity (ehs)–that is between 3-5% of the population or, based on 7 billion as of 2014, 210 – 350 million people! (according to the world population clock, that’s almost equal to the whole population of Brazil!) And this is based on those who are aware that their symptoms are related to their exposure. The actual true numbers are likely to be much higher and growing.

Amongst these millions of people are intelligent souls, educated individuals, artistic and creative folks and many professionals who’ve had to give up their careers, amongst other things (home, family, sanity), as a result of the debilitating effects of exposure to man-made electromagnetic frequencies (emf) and radio frequencies. In just my small circle of known sufferers there are (and remember most of these are all Ex’s now): Engineers, IT Professionals and Senior Programmers, Communications & Telecoms Experts, Military professionals, Professors, Medical Experts, Teachers, a Building Biologist…to name a few.

Of course we mustn’t forget that there are also now children and housewives, retired and elderly, and even pets (animals are people too 😉 ) included in this because their exposure has been forced on them without their informed consent. Yes, I said ‘consent’. And I also added ‘informed’ because the majority of the population now exposed to and using technology based on the use of emf/rf, which is now the majority of the world, have not been informed, nor are they aware of the potential risks. I’m using careful language like ‘potential’ because I’m no scientist, doctor or engineer…but, and it’s a big  BUT, as far as my experience, knowledge to date and intuition tell me I would have preferred to have used the word ‘inevitable’.

The reason for sharing my thoughts today are so that maybe, if you read this from the aspect of not being particularly keyed up on the hot topic of the century, the next time you see (and it’s getting more likely you will) someone wearing protective clothing like a hat with a veil or a shroud of grey netting; or if you see someone sitting alone on the floor in the far corner of the airport looking tired, harassed and miserable or even experience someone rushing out of a room, shop or even in the street waving a smog meter in front of them and clutching their head or heart… well, it’s in the hope that you’ll look on them with compassion and empathy and not ridicule or make faces. And if someone asks you to switch off your phone because they have an allergy to it, that you’ll actually switch it into flight mode or turn it off and not simply put it on silent! And if a friend or family member suddenly becomes sick, and seems to be sick a lot, for no apparent reason, that you may be able to join up some dots and point them in the right direction to help them clear their immediate surroundings of pollutants like wifi, cordless (dect) house phones and mobiles. There is a lot of information out there and I’m going to slowly share it with you, for the most part I’ll be sharing others writing because there’s no point reinventing the wheel, lol.

So…my message today is this:

WE, the electrosensitive members of your community, are not reclusive by choice; we are not (well, maybe just a bit) eccentrics; we are definitely not idiots; nor are we mentally deranged, challenged or strange; and it is not all in our heads…IT is all around our heads.

WE are human beings trying to survive the electromagnetic apocalypse! And as Arnie once said “We’ll be back!” once the world wakes up and cleans up the airwaves.
